Managing Voiding Dysfunction After Sling Procedures

Women who undergo a sling procedure to treat stress urinary incontinence may occasionally find themselves at the opposite end of the spectrum postoperatively, experiencing voiding difficulty and urinary retention. Although these sequelae often resolve with conservative measures, patients requiring additional surgery can generally expect a satisfactory outcome.
