A 26-year-old, healthy Hispanic, nulligravida woman underwent examination under anesthesia, with laparotomy with multiple myomectomies, and lysis of adhesions for management of fibroid-related dysmenorrhea. Her medical history was noncontributory. Intraoperatively, the uterus was noted to be 20 weeks in size. A total of 29 fibroids were removed, weighing 582 grams.
