The Quest for the “Perfect” Vagina

The controversy over ObGyns performing cosmetic vaginal surgical procedures raises a new set of ethical dilemmas. This article reviews the latest trends in cosmetic vaginal surgery, and focuses on properly advising patients using a multidisciplinary approach that includes psychological or psychiatric counseling.

Women who are fulfilling the stressful role of primary caretakers for family members with cardiac disease may develop risk factors for cardiovascular disease themselves. This article proposes ways to reduce caregiver strain as a means of decreasing the risk of cardiac disease.
