Hyperemesis gravidarum—characterized by persistent nausea and vomiting,
in contrast to more commonly-occuring "morning sickness"—affects
0.3% to 2% of gravid women. It may lead to dehydration and other maternal
and/or fetal risks. This article addresses the prevalence, risks, and diagnosis
of hyperemesis, and proposes treatment strategies.
Botulinum Toxin for Restoration of Bladder Control
